That's what I've found here. It's so great to see that others have survived, or are surviving, what you're going through. Seeing others' progress and even setbacks help you to understand that what you're experiencing is normal. Lifted Hearts is wonderful b/c it helps us get through the day with the advice of others it's important to realize that there are others like you that are going through the same situation as you you meet people that live in a different country that are trying to help you too you can help others and post all you want and not get a "Oh god, not again" sigh. I joined and have been reading the ebook, and I am gobsmacked, for want of a better word. Tigress could of course, have been writing about me personally, and I am reading the book, finding myself nodding at every comment, and every page. I have committed all of the 'faux pas' Tigress outlines, and can totally, absolutely see the rationale behind her innate logic and commonsense. Whether my relationship repairs or not, I am already feeling better having read the book. If I only downloaded and read this one book, I would feel it is worth the price of the gold membership. I hope to find time to join in on some of the forums, but am a very busy professional in the (note: industry purposedly removed to ensure privacy) world, at the top of my profession, maybe, internationally known, but at the bottom of the heap when it comes to successful relationships. Why a Broken Hearts Community?

Because...

Breaking up is hard to do! It is amazing how–when we endure years of drug/alcohol addiction; codependency; or mental, emotional, or physical abuse–that we are comforted and soothed and supported in our recovery efforts: there are hundreds–if not thousands–of recovery programs available to help the alcoholic. However, when a relationship ends after years of it being the center of our universe, we're supposed to just shake the dust off and GET OVER IT!

Get Over It?

Not that simple! Yet, nowhere will you find recovery groups aimed to gain support for those whose entire world has just come crashing down around them. Oh, sure, you can get "therapy" and seek "support from your friends", but for some that isn't enough. Somehow, somewhere, you have to actually receive honest and open support to understand what you are going through, and what some barriers are that can and may prevent you from a full recovery. Somewhere along the line you are going to want to know what went wrong to begin with. Somewhere along the line you will want to speak with others who can relate to your pain and support you in your efforts to recover. And somewhere you need an understanding that you are actually going to grieve...and mourn...and go crazy...and adjust your whole way of living...and scream...and lose reason...and fall...and get up...and stumble...and fight...and resist urges...and experience every emotional feeling available to man to the highest degree of that emotion–and that that is okay! Yet, nowhere is there a recovery program that is aimed at the loss of our dreams. That is why the Lifted Hearts Community was formed. Membership is growing, and the strong show of love and support in the Lifted Hearts Community has already helped many recover from bitter divorces and heartless breakups.

Chances are, if you're coming out of a relationship that ended up in a breakup, that you had pre-breakup foresights for which you had subconsciously selected to ignore. There are certain signs that are present in almost every bad relationship, sometimes we do not recognize them until after the relationship is completely over, after the grieving has finally passed, and when we begin to realize that we actually are starting to feel GOOD...in fact, we feel BETTER THAN EVER!
